Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups boiling water
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
2 tbsp. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. baking soda
Topping/Sauce:

Directions:
Pour water over oats and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Add margarine, white sugar and brown sugar and stir until margarine melts. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Sift or stir flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda together and add to mixture. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and stir until blended. Pour batter into 9x13 pan that has been coated with non-stick spray and dusted with flour. Sprinkle 1/4 cup chips and walnuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

Based on 21 pieces, each provides approximately: 190 calories, 2.7 g protein, 30 g carbohydrates, 7.4 g fat, 1.2 g fiber, 20 mg cholesterol, and 214 mg sodium.
