Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake

margarine, softened |

white sugar |
|
|

brown sugar |

| Directions: |
| Pour water over oats and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Add margarine, white sugar and brown sugar and stir until margarine melts. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Sift or stir flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda together and add to mixture. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and stir until blended. Pour batter into 9x13 pan that has been coated with non-stick spray and dusted with flour. Sprinkle 1/4 cup chips and walnuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
